Overview
Scott will share the action research journey behind the development of “Smart Tutorials” learning modules containing videos, transcripts, summaries and questions, designed to prepare students before each session.
The results were significant. In one example, 35 lectures were converted in a single day. Course development time was reduced to approximately three or four weeks, while a case-based learning initiative achieved 90% pre-task completion in its first year. The team also developed a blended course-design template that reduced build time by two-thirds.
