Each hotspot can reveal explanatory text, images, audio, video or links, helping learners explore information at their own pace. It is useful for visual explanations, guided exploration and making complex subjects easier to understand.

How to create an Image Hotspots

1. Sign in to H5P.com and open your content library.

2. Select Add content and choose Image Hotspots.

3. Add the main image learners will explore.

4. Add a hotspot and position it over the relevant part of the image.

5. Add the information learners should see when they select the hotspot, such as text, images, audio, video or a link.

6. Repeat the process for each hotspot and choose suitable icons where needed.

7. Preview and test the activity, then select Save.
